Fighting an invisible enemy.

How to fight something that you cannot see. To some it would be an impossible defense against an unseen enemy. You have no knowledge when the enemy will attack or how the enemy will attack. You live your days wondering if and when the enemy will come against you. However, there are many defenses that a person can take.

Your body can be invaded by an unseen enemy and that enemy can be some type of a virus and germs. We then will try some home remedies and when that fails then we go to the doctor. We could receive a shot in the arm or some medicine to help fight this unseen enemy that has infected our body. If a person does not fight against these viruses or germs, then they will overtake your body and can even kill your body.

However, there is another unseen enemy who wants to conquer, control and then destroy. This unseen enemy is call “spiritual warfare”. Spiritual warfare is an ongoing battle from the darkness of Satan and his forces of evil. This warfare is against the Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason for this warfare is to recapture the souls that have left the bondage of Satan and found salvation in the arms of Jesus Christ. Satan is not at war with those who are lost souls under his control, but it is the Jesus name believers that Satan is against.

You cannot see Satan and his fallen angels nor his demons that are in this world. But their presences are real, and their desire is to come against you in any manner that will destroy you. It is not your body that they want to control but it is your soul that they want to destroy. They will use deception, distraction, deceitfulness, disappointment, discouragement, your words, your mistakes in the pass, your faith and your belief. These can lead to becoming disillusion in your fight within this spiritual warfare. They will bombard your thinking with fiery darts of unbelief in attacking your faith. They love a Child of God who will flee from them and who has no faith and desire to stand and fight that good fight of Faith.

How many times have you heard someone complain about Satan and the problems and sickness that comes their way? Maybe Christians should stop complaining and start standing up against the onslaught of the angels of evil.

How many Christians will stand up and proclaim their Faith in Jesus when Satan and his evil forces began their attack against them. How many will proclaim that they will not be overcome with sickness, with problems of life. But they will stand and hold up their Shield of Faith and the Sword of the Word of God and fight their spiritual battle against the forces of evil.

Fear not, flee not from your fight but take the fight to the enemy and claim your victory. When those fiery darts from the demons come heading towards you then do what Paul said, “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked” (Ephesians 6:16).

When Jesus was tempted, He used the Word of God, by saying “it is written”. The WORD of God was made flesh and that WORD became the body of Jesus. The name of the WORD of God is “Jesus” because Jesus is the WORD made flesh. Satan knows this, the fallen angels knows this, the demons know this and they all must obey the “command of the name of Jesus Christ”.

A Holy Ghost filled person has the power of God Almighty inside of their body and the saying is true, “because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Your body is the Temple of God and God’s ark of protection is also inside of your body, Paul said, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you” (1st Corinthians 3:16”.

Your weapons in fighting this spiritual warfare is first, “knowing who you are, knowing what you are, knowing who dwells inside of you. Then take on the whole armory of God as Paul said, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:11-18).

Stand strong, behold He cometh quickly because the midnight cry for His Bride is about to be sounded.
