Our Awesome God.

There are those who don’t believe that there is a Supreme Being called God and Jesus Christ was just a story. There are those who believe in God and in Jesus, but they have no faith in the one that they believe in. Then there are those who believe and have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who is the image of the invisible God.

The higher learning of education and their theory of evolution has replaced God as the Creator. Scientist and their technology have replaced God as the Creator and proclaim the Big Bang theory. But they cannot tell you what produced the Big Bang theory nor where did the seen and unseen elements come from that produced planets, suns, and life. Someone had to create all of these seen and unseen elements that was needed for the formation of a sun or a planet. Someone had to create life. Creation is not an accident, but it came from the Creator and God Almighty is that Creator. God is an awesome, all-powerful, everlasting God.

Consider God’s creation and look at the pictures of different galaxies in the region of outer space. Look up at night time and behold the Milky Way and see the wonders of God’s creation. Consider our own solar system and the creation of this earth. Consider all the people on this earth which is about 7.5 billion and consider all the nations on this earth, and yet God is in control of everything and God still has time to hear a small child praying. God is indeed an awesome God.

God is everywhere because HIS Spirit is everywhere, and the reason is that everything was created within the Spirit of God. In the beginning before creation the Spirit of God was already presence within the darkness of the unknown. Before this earth was created the Spirit of God was already here. God’s Spirit is in the far distant of the darkest region of outer space. His Spirit is everywhere within His creations. Everything is held together by the power of His WORD.

His Spirit is like the wind and His Spirit searches the heart and mind of every human being. His Spirit sees us, His Spirit hears us, His Spirit walks with us, His Spirit rejoice when we render praises and worship to him. His Spirit is inside of our body and we have the Spirit of the Almighty God dwelling inside of us and we are indeed a living walking temple of the Spirit of God. We are in the Kingdom of God and Paul said in 1 Corinthians 4:20, “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power”.

God gave humanity a gift and it was himself because God was going to tabernacle with mankind. When Jesus was born he was more than just a baby because HE is “Emmanuel, God with us”. He is that Holy Thing, He is the WORD made flesh, He is the POWER of God walking upon this earth and He is the POWER of GOD walking with us, living inside us, talking to us, He is our light as we walk in a world of darkness.In Hebrews 1:3, “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the “word of his power”, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high”. His glory and his power is with every believer.

God is so awesome that he became the lamb that Abraham foretold in Genesis 22:8. That Holy Thing that was born is the Power of God’s WORD robed in flesh. Jesus has all power in heaven and in this world. In Revelation 1:8, Jesus said, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”.

This Great All-Powerful God is now tabernacle among mankind and they did not know it. By and thru Jesus this Great Supreme Being could feel the wind upon his face, he could now feel the pain of hunger and thirst. He could feel the disappointment, and the sorrow, the hurt, the hardships that humanity would go through. He could feel the dirt under his feet and the water on his face. God was now experiencing the life of a human being because God was in Jesus Christ.

Jesus redeemed humanity by the Blood He shed on Calvary and ascended into Heaven. He is no longer on this earth, but God is still dwelling with mankind. He tabernacles with us because God poured out His Spirit upon His believers as in Acts 2. God removed the Temple made with the hands of men and God instituted a Temple not made with hands but by the Blood of the Lamb of God and His Spirit. Our body is now the Temple of God and that same Spirit that created everything is now inside of every “Born Again” Believer.

Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:19, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation”. A person who is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the baptism of the Spirit of God has God inside of their body and we become the words and the power of reconciliation to a world of lost souls.

The Kingdom of this Awesome God is more than just words but too many people will just use words in trying to explain God’s Kingdom. They will pray without faith, they will proclaim without power. They will hope for God’s healing or blessing without expecting to receive their healing and blessing. Should we not reach through the veil and claim our healing and our blessing. We should be doing the same “works” that Jesus did, because we have the Power of this Awesome God who created everything, and we have the Name of the WORD of God and He is the Lord Jesus Christ.

What are we afraid of? Why do we have such a small faith? Why have we neglected such Power and still claim the Spirit of God is inside us and we are in the Kingdom of God. Is our faith in the power of God fading away?

Do we really believe Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever”? Jesus has not changed but we have. We go to Church and sing songs of worship and praises but how many really believe that Jesus is within our midst? Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”. If Jesus is within our midst them the POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD is PRESENT.

Jesus told us that we have the Power, if we will only ask and believe, John 14:12-14, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”.

The Power of the faith in Jesus Christ is for the Saints of God. The Power in the name of Jesus Christ is for the Saints of God. We have the Power. Let us not stand at a wishing well and hoping to see a move of God but let us take the Power that is in the name of Jesus Christ and the Power that is in the Spirit of God and go forth with the works of healing, with works of deliverance, with VICTORY, because we have the POWER. We have the Power over Satan and his demons. We have the Power over sickness and we can break down the doors of the prison where Satan has bound souls in chains of disbelief.

Let us hold fast to our faith in Jesus Christ. Let us hold fast to the name of Jesus Christ. Let us hold fast to the Power of God’s Spirit. Let us realize who we are and what we are. If we do, then the scripture will become true. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”. Always holding fast to the promise of Jesus in John 14:13-14, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”.

This Almighty Supreme Being that we call God gave us the Gift of Salvation. But too many souls are refusing God’s precious gift of Salvation. Is it because they refuse to believe in the name of God’s begotten Son? Is it because they refuse to believe IN HIN, that is the Lord Jesus Christ? Why is it that souls are not reaching out to Jesus, why? In the New Testament they came to Jesus, they searched for Jesus, they called out his name, and people told others about Jesus. Just as in Mark 5:27-28, “When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole”. Someone told her about Jesus and she went to Jesus. How many lost souls have we witnessed to about Jesus? How many souls have we told what Jesus can do for them because HE delivered us?

Maybe too many believers are ashamed to talk about Jesus. Maybe they feel that they will upset someone. But what will we say on Judgment day when our friends point a finger at us and say, “you never told me about Jesus”. I guess that too many believers no longer are working in the fields for the harvest of souls. Nor do they believe in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But we forget that God is an Awesome God and His Spirit sees and hears everything that we do or say. Maybe, just maybe the Spirit of God sent a lost soul to you and you refused to tell that soul about Jesus, what will your excuse be on judgment day?

Every soul that a believer brings to Jesus is like putting a precious jewel in your crown of life. To be fruitful to the Lord is to witness to lost souls. If not, then the fruits of our life will be unworthy. Matthew 3:10, “And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore, every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire”. Let us bring forth good fruit and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us never forget that God is ALL KNOWING, and is JESUS pleased with us. Are we pleased in the way that we are serving the Lord Jesus Christ, are we?

This Awesome God gave to us this precious gift of salvation, let us share this gift with others because the time is short. God is a God of Love because God still sees the Blood of the Lamb of God, but God is also a God of wrath and the Day of the Lord is drawing near. Isaiah 13:6-11, “Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible”. Joel 1:15, “Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come”. Revelation 6:14-17, “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

The time is drawing to a close and the harvest is still full, where are the Believers, have they lost their zeal to spread the Gospel. Lost souls enjoying the pleasures of this world and not having a desire to serve Jesus. Churches preaching a false doctrine and leading them on a pathway to destruction. Satan is spreading His false belief and both sinners and Christians are listening to him. Faith is fading away among Christians. Too many Churches are asleep and unaware of the “Day of the Lord” is near.

God is an Awesome God and the time will come when it will be proclaimed, “delay no longer”. Will you be ready for the return of Jesus for His Bride which are the true Believers in Jesus? If you are not ready, then you will you be left behind. Joel 3:14-15, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining”. The choice is yours to make.
