Standing on the Devil’s ground

I went to bed the other night all troubled in my soul. And when I finely fell to sleep

a dream came to me. An angel of the Lord was standing next to me and then I heard him say to me, “I have a message from the Lord. The Lord has a mission for you to perform. There are some souls, who are held in chains now go and set them free”. I replied and said, “I’m not the one, find someone else”, then he said to me.

You’re standing on the Devil’s ground, boy. You’re standing on the Devil’s Ground.

When you are testifying for the Lord, you’re standing on the Devil’s ground.

With a sword in one hand and a praise in the other. Don’t be afraid for you know,

you’re standing on the Devil’s ground.

In my dream I arose and down the road I went. The night was dark, and I knew not the way.

But the angel was my guide leading me on my way when up ahead I heard the cries

of the souls that were lost. Then I saw a prison camp, souls all bound in chains.

I turned around to the angel I did say, “How will I open this gate for it’s locked with a heavy chain?” Then the angel said to me, “Use the sword of his Word. For don’t know”.

You’re standing on the Devil’s ground, boy. You’re standing on the Devil’s Ground.

When you are testifying for the Lord, you’re standing on the Devil’s ground.

With a sword in one hand and a praise in the other. Don’t be afraid for you know,

you’re standing on the Devil’s ground.

I took the Sword and a mighty blow the chains they did fall and inside of that camp the soul was all bound. But with the power of his Word the shackles did fall. Then I looked and all around were the demons of hell. I called out to the angel, But the angel just said to me, “Help is on it way, stand your ground and hold your sword for there is power in his Word”. Then I saw the sky light up like bombs bursting in the air, then the demons began to flee, and the angel said to me.

I asked the angel what it was that drove the demons away, the angel said that it was the prayers of the Saints of God. The angel said to hurry up and to be on my way for the Devil knows what has occurred and he is on his way. I gather the soul and down the path we all went. But up ahead there I saw the Devil and his band. Fears grab my soul I did not know what to do. I turned around I did not see the angel with me. I raised my Sword and I proclaim, I claim these souls in Jesus name, then I heard the angel say.

I looked around and there I saw the angels of the Lord. As they stood between me and Satan’s evil band. With flaming swords, they cleared the way when I heard the angel say, hurry up and be on your way. Down the path we did run straight for God’s house. I lead them into the House of God and at the Altar I left them. As I stood at the door, I looked out and I could see, Satan and his evil band. I look at Satan and his demons and these words I did say.

I’ve been standing on the Devil’s ground. I’ve been standing on the Devil’s Ground.

When I’m testifying for the Lord, I’m standing on the Devil’s ground.

With a sword in one hand and a praise in the other. I’m not afraid for you know,

I have been standing on the Devil’s ground. I’m not afraid for you know, I’ve been standing on the Devil’s ground.
