Preparing for War?

Here are some interesting developments from the Islam nations.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan currently holds the chairmanship of the body, called the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Turkish President Erdogan has called for a meeting of the OIC Friday May 18, 2018. Turkey’s Premier Yildirim said, "Islamic countries should without fail review their relations with Israel," and adding, “The Islamic world should move as one, with one voice, against this massacre."

The OIC has 57 nations with a population of 1.5 billion people as of 2011. Some of the main nations are: Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Could this OIC be the nations in Ezekiel 38 and 39?

Ezekiel 38:2-8. In verse 8 shows that the time for this war was for the “latter years”,

8 “After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them”.

Ezekiel 38:14-19. In verse 16 it also shows the time for this war was for “latter days”.

16 “And thou shalt come up against My people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes”. In verse 18 and 19 it shows the wrath and protection for Israel. 18 “And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.

19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel”.

Ezekiel 39:1-2. In verse 2 it shows the outcome of this war. Only a sixth part of this army is left.

1 “Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 2. And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel”.

Daniel 7:12, “As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time”.

These “other beasts” whose life were prolonged for a season and time are: Babylon, Persia and Greece. Today Babylon is Iraq, Persia is Iran. Greece was divided into four kingdoms after the death of Alexander the Great. His four generals were Lysimachus, Cassander, Seleucus, and Ptolemy. Ptolemy controlled Egypt and Syria was under Seleucus. Egypt ruled over Judah and later it was ruled by Syria. These are all Muslims nations today. Yet, Daniel said that their lives were prolonged for a season and time. Were they prolonged for the War that is foretold in the Book of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39? These nations are Russia (Magog), Iran (Persia), and Former Soviet states (Meshech/Tubal), Eastern Europe (Gomer), Turkey (Togarmiah), Sudan (Cush), and Libya (Put). This is not the Battle of Armageddon because in Revelation 19:21, “And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh”.

Either way Islam has one desire and that is to destroy Israel. The Muslims claim Jerusalem as their capitol and it could lead to a war. If it’s the war of Gog and Magog, then the Muslims nations will be defeated. The third temple will be built. A seven years peace treaty will be signed by the Jews and the Muslims. The person that present this Peace Treaty will be the Antichrist.

Truly the time is short, and the signs are around us. But who will believe?
