Be not ashamed of the name of Jesus Christ.

What is it about that name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that has become politically incorrect to use and offensive to other people. Is it because they hate the use of the name of Jesus Christ the Son of God who is the Image of God or is it because they fear the name of Jesus. How can a person claim to be a Christian and be ashamed of the name of Jesus who is the WORD of God? How can they say that they are washed in the blood of the Lamb of God and yet refuse to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin? How important is that name, in the Book of Acts it is written in Acts 4:12, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” That name is indeed very important because mankind was given only one name whereby we can obtain salvation. There is no other name nor titles that can bring forth salvation to humanity. But there are those who have rejected that “one name” and brought forth another name and titles and proclaim that they are correct and try to justify their reason for rejecting the apostle doctrine in the use of the name of Jesus Christ in baptism. However, they forget that it is God who gave that name of Jesus to people for salvation.

If we say that we believe in God, then so can the Muslim and so can the Jews and the other Christian Organizations? But if we say that we believe that Jesus Christ is the ‘Image of God” or that Jesus Christ is the “Son of God” and that Jesus Christ was crucified and rose from the tomb and ascended into Heaven and is coming back to Judge this world then we run into a major division between the Muslims and the Jews, because they do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God nor the Image of God.. If we say that we reject the “Doctrine of the Trinity” and that baptism is only in the name of Jesus Christ and the sign of receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost is the sign of speaking in tongues and that Jesus Christ is the only “person in the Godhead” then a major division between the other Christians Organization has taken place. The reason is because they believe in the Doctrine of the Trinity (three persons in the Godhead) and they baptize in the Titles of the Trinity and they have rejected speaking in tongues as a sign of receiving the Holy Ghost. However, there are many Christian Organizations that holds on to the teaching of the Apostle Doctrine and believe in Acts chapter 2 and Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, and it will be these believers that the religious world of Christianity will come against. Notice in Acts 4:18, “And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.” Acts 5:40, “And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus and let them go.” This day will soon be upon the Jesus name believers and then the true test of our faith will be known.

The Muslims have already in different parts of the world have killed Christians and destroyed their Churches. The main stream media have failed to really cover these killing maybe they are afraid of upsetting the Muslims in the United States. Even within the United States the name of Jesus Christ is not politically accepted, and it has become an offensive name among the Muslims, Jews, Atheists and even some Christian Organizations. History has showed how a controlling religious body, or a government can dictate what a person can believe and what is accepted and what is rejected. Satan is using this “Unity of Faith Movement” in trying to bring all beliefs together. Some believe that there are many ways to enter Heaven and all faiths are acceptable to God. But God is a jealous God as in Nahum 1:2, “God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.” Who are the enemies of God? They are the ones who deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that Jesus Christ is the image of God, those who deny that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, they who created false gods in the Godhead, those who changed the Plan of Salvation and denied baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and condemned speaking in tongues as a sign of receiving the Holy Ghost. There is only “one Lord, one Faith and one baptism” there are not many Lords, there are not many Faiths and there are not many Baptism. To proclaim that salvation is not in the name of Jesus is the same as removing the Glory of God and to fellowship with or too agree to this One Unity of the Faith Movement is the same as joining with false doctrine.

Is it not written in Isaiah 42:8, “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” The Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ cannot be shared or given to anyone else. Jesus is the only way to come before God, is it not written in John 14:5-7, ‘Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.’ John 10:9-10, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” But there will be those who will hold on to the truth, the faith and the name of Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

Soon the Passover that Israel was commanded to keep will start at sunset on Monday, the 14th of April 2014. There will be those who will celebrate what is called Good Friday and there will be those who will be awake at sunrise and celebrate the resurrection. There will be those who will partake in the communion of the Blood (wine) and the Body (bread) of our Lord. Yet there are those who refuse to be baptized in his name of the one whose blood they are drinking and the name of the one whose flesh they are eating. There are those who will preach about the blood shed on Mount Calvary and yet they refuse to preach about baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. There are those who will stand and say that they believe in Jesus and yet they refuse to be baptized in the name of the one that they believe in. There are those who will proclaim how much that they love Jesus but, yet they refuse to be baptized in the name of the one that they love.

I wonder if we could go back into time and if we could see Jesus in that garden praying and seeing and hearing the stress and the agony of that struggle that would lead to extreme suffering was so hard that his sweat turned into drops of blood, would we still refuse to be baptized in his name. If we stood and watched Jesus standing before the High Priest and how they mocked him and the false witness who came against him and how they hit him and plucked his beard and then to hear the High Priest say, “are you the Son of God” and then to hear Jesus reply, “I am”, would we still refuse to be baptized in his name. If we stood at the whipping post and watched the Romans take a wipe, one on each side and began to lay the whip to his body and if we could see the flesh tearing open and blood running down to the ground as they continue to whip him as the blood formed a pool at his feet, would we still refuse to be baptized in his name. If we could watch the soldiers placing a crown of thorns upon his head as the thorns pierced his flesh and listened to their mockery, would we still refuse to be baptized in his name? If we could watch Jesus carrying his cross up the pathway that leads to Mount Calvary and seeing Jesus fall under the burden of his cross, would we still refuse to be baptized in his name. If we could see, and if we could hear the sound of that hammer, as they were nailing his hands and his feet to that cross, would we still refuse to be baptized in his name. If we could be standing at the tomb when Jesus came forth from the tomb, would we still refuse to be baptized in his name.

There are those who refuse to be baptized in his name but there are those who are proud to have his name in baptism. There are those who are proud to wear the name of the one who prayed in that garden. There are those who are proud to be baptized in the name of the one who was tied to that whipping post. There are those who are not ashamed of the one who fell under the burden of his cross. There are those who are not ashamed of the one who was nailed to that cross because they have been washed in the Blood of the Lamb and they have his name in baptism. There are those who are proud to proclaim that there Saviour lives and that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is coming back for His Church that has His name stamped upon the souls of His saints. There are those who are proud of the name of Jesus Christ because they have been buried in that watery grave in the name of Jesus Christ in baptism and they came forth with a snow white robe. They have the name of Jesus Christ and that name shows the authority and the ownership and now they belong to Jesus Christ and Jesus belongs to them and they are in “The Church” because Jesus is the owner of the True Church of the living God.

Is it not recorded in John 3:14-18, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” The world is not this earth, but the world is humanity and if we believe not on him but if we believe “IN HIM” then we will want to be with him in baptism by taking on the name of Jesus Christ. It said, “That the world through him might be saved” that is why it is recorded in Acts 4:12, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Salvation is only in the name of Jesus Christ.

So, if you have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and spoke in tongues when you received the baptism of the Holy Ghost then lift your head up high and proclaim His name, be bold in telling people about Jesus and fear not because you are a Child of God. Wear that name with pride and protect that name from abuse and render worship and praises to the name of the one that washed your sins away and gave you a robe of righteous to wear. Always remember that you belong to Jesus and Jesus belongs to you.

Fear not those who will come against you. Fear not those who will call you a bearer of false doctrine. Fear not those who will call you a servant of Satan. Fear not those who will mock you and say ungodly things about you. But let your fears turn into joy because they also said the same things about our Lord Jesus Christ. In John 15:18-19, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” Luke 21:17, ‘And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.”

No one knows what events will come against those who uphold the name of Jesus Christ. No one knows what events, rules, regulations or laws that will come from Congress, the Supreme Court or the Office of the President that could affect the Jesus name believers. No one knows what the United Nations has in store for the Christian faith. But the time is short and as a song that is called, “The Midnight Cry” is so true for the condition of the world is ripe for the Antichrist to come forth. In seeing and knowing these things then it is time for “The Church” to put on the full armour of God and lead the charge against the strong holds of Satan and break down the doors of his prison were the lost souls are at and claim victory by leading souls to an Altar of repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and receiving the Holy Ghost. This is our fight, this is our war, let us carry the Banner of the Name of Jesus Christ high and proclaim the Power that is in the Blood of the Lamb of God. Let us be not weary nor faint but be ye strong in the Power of the name of Jesus because Jesus is the WORD of God.
