Demons are real, but unreal to this world.

Christians should take notice and understand the workings of Demons. Demons are a real spiritual being, just as real as God and Jesus is real. People like to watch movies about demons and the underworld of evil more than watching movies about Jesus Christ or going to Church and reading their Bible. It appears that demons have a greater influence over the minds of people than Jesus. I wonder why?

We can watch the News and wonder about all the trouble in this world and try to make excuses for it. We can read about a mother trying to kill her young child and try to make excuses for her action. We can read about teenagers and their gangs and killing and try to make excuses for it. We can watch the act of terrorism and try to make excuses for it. We can see those who are held in the bondage of additions and try to make excuses for it. But the real reason goes by unnoticed.

Preachers will preach about Jesus casting out demons out of people in the Bible but do they believe in demons today? Maybe they have no idea how this Spiritual War is being fought. Maybe they are afraid to preach about demons? We will say that a person who commits such acts are mentally ill, because they are not in the right frame of mind and they are unable to know the difference between right and wrong. These words of mentally ill has over shadowed the forces of demons.

We sometime relate demons only to a person who is possessed. However, demons can and they will whisper words of influence into the minds of people. Their words will lead a person deeper into sin and then destruction. Demons can even be within a Church service, such as in Mark 1:22-25, “And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him”.

How does this act of demon influence occur? You can take a person with a sound mind and then that person commits an act of terrorism, what happened, what was the reason behind his or her act. The world will come up with all types of excuses and place blame everywhere except for the real source. That source is the influence of the demons. The first place that the demons will attack is the mind. Both Christians and sinners are the object of their desire to destroy and kill.

Even a person who is Holy Ghost filled and baptized in the name of Jesus can become influenced by demons. Demons will attack a Saint of God with discouragement which will depress their desire to stay faithful to the Lord. Demons will use distraction, emotions, depression, ideals, gossipers, diseases, and anything that will damage their walk with God. These things can lead to a fading away from the Spirit of God and the Spirit of God will not dwell in an unclean temple which is your body. A Saint of God must always stay full of the Spirit of God and never forget that Satan and his demons, desires your downfall.

A person without God is an easy prey for these demons. They have an unguarded mind and Satan has a table full of the lusts of this world. Demons can take an act of evil and turn it into an act of doing God’s will, such as the act of terrorism by the Muslim religion and even Christianity. Evil comes from Satan and his demons. The person who opened gunfire on the crowd in Las Vegas is a person who is controlled by demons. The person who entered the Church in Nashville and opened gunfire is a person controlled by demons. The gangs that are killing other people in Chicago are controlled by demons. Those who commit terrorism are controlled by demons. Those who are robbing other people are those who are controlled by demons. Those who are selling drugs are controlled by demons.

We are living in the “beginning of sorrow” and the days before the Judgment of God and the Seals are open. Revelation 6:4, “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword”. Revelation 6:8, “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth”.

We were warned of this period that we are living in, 2 Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come”. 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived”.

The day will come when Satan will turn his forces loose against the Jesus Name Believers and that day is not far off. You can read about the first four seals and the time of trouble that is produced by their action. You can read about the sixth seal and see the destruction and fear that will take place. But look at the fifth seal in Revelation 6:9-11, “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled”. That day is coming and already has its beginning. Will you stay true to Jesus or will you forsake his name and turn from him?

Too the Saints of God be strong in Jesus Christ and understand what John is talking about in 1st John 4:1-6, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error”.

We like to say, “because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” but for this to be true, then a Saint must always be “full” of the Spirit of God. It is by His Spirit that a Saint can win the battle over Satan and his demons. It is by the Name of Jesus Christ that Satan and his demons must obey. Be full of faith in Jesus, be full of the Spirit of God. Stand and fight the forces of evil and never retreat, never give up the ground that you have fought for, never forsake what God has gave to you.
